How To Make A Knife Sheath #leathercrafter #leatherproject #knifesheath #leathertooling KarambitKnives,com

Today we will make an easy beginner leather project. This tooled pancake sheath can be made from small pieces of leather. It is easy to adjust the knife sheath size for knives larger and smaller. The leather that I used today is pre-dyed Vegtan leather from Montana Leather. I love to use vegtan leather to create knife sheaths. Vegtan leather tools well and then forms to the knife very well. The vaqueta leather cuts, tooled, and finishes nice. The vaqueta leather is available in six colors and with all colors available in 3-5 ounce and 8-9 ounce weights. This allows you to get the right weight for your project. You can purchase the leather in full sides or smaller panels to save money by matching your project needs.

Montana Leather has been in business since 1908. Montana Leather provides great customer service and most of my orders have shipped the same day.

Love the matched set. The sheath turned out great! I am assuming you are using a Barry King diamond stamp–do you remember what size it is? I like the dimension and balance you chose for your stamp. Thanks much.

Very nice Robert. Love that diamond stamp/pattern. The antiquing really makes the diamonds pop and the overall dye color great looking.
