You did fantastic. I've owned this knife for years and now I'm shoppong for another for my wife at her request for her birthday. One of the best knives I've ever come across and it performed well in combat.
If you are small (man or woman), and you are engaged in combat with a larger or stronger aggressor hold the karambit apropriatly blade down and away from your body. clinch the knife with one hand clasped over the other and use all the leg strength that you can if someone is trying to disarm you. It is a terrible position to be in; trying to disarm you of that knife. Close the gap if they're struggling over the knife. They're likely cutting themselves up in the process. take a wide stance with your legs to keep upright but lean and lounge into their center mass. Use the strength of your legs bring the blade up from the gut, up the chest, up to the neck.
Cool knife but let me give you some knowledge I’ve learned in hand to hand combat once you engage into hand to hand your going to get hurt regardless if you train everyday you would have a little bit of a advantage but that’s everyday even if you do that once you go into hand to hand I’m telling you you are gonna get hurt pepper spray is the best thing for girls

Nice to see another female interested in a karambit, especially a special edition version. I have the 599 standard ones, but really wanted the premium elmax blade over the n690, and good to know its lighter.
