I wish you were my teacher. We had a really small dojo, full of green-belts. When I see this video I somehow learn more than in my training back then. It's actually so simple and I made it complicated for myself. Unfortunally my dojo and my sensei worked like this: crouch in his ass and you get a belt. I think, you guys are more cool and handle Bujinkan in a funny, acceptable way. Looks like you have fun with it and you are open for questions. I have seen dudes in my dojo getting belts just for going to the restaurant with my sensei. Dudes getting black belts that were no threath at all. I really loved Bujinkan, but I think, I had the wrong dojo. But here in Germany a lot dojos seem to work like that: it's all like a slimy family. The more you crouch in each others asses, the more you get. I have seen women getting a 7th kyu and not being able to stand properly in Ichimonji-no-kamae. They couldnt even do 9th kyu-stuff, but were friend with sensei and that's it.

Great stuff Chris. I find that at full speed, these techiniques may be hard to execute without some persuasion. For example, when you move to the outside, parry the punch and hanbo strike same time. After the outside step, front kick to get their attention. Continue takedown. Play!

I've not had the opportunity to study bujinkan, but have wanted to for a long while. This looks like a pretty advanced use of body mechanics. Are these techniques considered advanced within the art?
