Okay falicia dam
I would of watched all your video but you smack your lips to much for my liking, very annoying.
Always prefer reach over a little weight economy. The difference between 4 and a quarter over 2 or 3 inches can be huge when needed. Also, slashing may damage, but stabbing kills. My EDC is the TOPs CUT, very useful tool, that can end a conflict quickly. Swanagen and TOPs hit this one out of the park.
What you were thinking of when you were looking at the Smith and Wesson was a Persian blade…..
Have a question on the kabar TDI fast strike. Will the sheath setup allow you to carry the sheath inside the belt close to belly and still allow for deployment of the knife?
Almost bought a Tops CUT till I found out it's 1095. No way. Thank you
Real training will matter far more than blade shape but it's always fun to talk about those details. I love Tops ring knives, I already have the CUT 4.0 and the poker.
Any opinion about the devil's claw?
Believe it or not one of my favorite edc knives is the Browning Vanquish. For $30 you can't go wrong. It has the snag feature which I find deploys faster than the Emerson wave feature.
Sorry but no, not every knife with a finger ring is a karambit. A "c" curved blade is needed, other wise is just another knife, a knife with a ring, etc…..
Ended grabbing a Bastinelli Mako fixed for all the reasons you listed above. I adore it. Very comfy in hand.
I ordered that Smith & Wesson karambit off of Amazon I think the next one on this list that I like a lot is that Kabar pocket strike
The CUT 4.0 has Micarta handles and not G10
Enjoying your Karambit series; have been adding some 'straight' and non hawk-bill bladed ring knives to my collection as well (starting with Tops CUT 4.0). Thinking about the Tops 'Devils Claw 2' too. Currently EDC the Snody Snake-Charmer (KaBar production model) nice light ring knife.
Thanks for introducing theses other models!
Cool video love karambits
