Buck 112 Ranger Finger Groove Classic Folding Knife KarambitKnives, com

qcreek11 Jun 22

Urban Knife Guy shares his thoughts on the Buck 112 Ranger Finger Groove.

In 1964, the larger buck 110 was introduced. And in 1972. Buck introduced the 112 Ranger. It was created in response to a fight between sailors and soldiers in which a model 110 Folding Hunter was used. There was a decree issued as a result that knives carried could not have a blade length of a specific size. The 110 blade exceeded that length, so Buck Knives created the Ranger, a smaller version of the 110.

As originally introduced in the 1960s, the 112 once again features a genuine ebony hardwood handle. This ethically sourced Crelicam ebony supports replanting efforts in the Congo Basin rainforest while providing Buck Knives with a genuine hardwood handle that is nearly indestructible.

I have an eye on a 112 at a flee market. it is quite beat up but very solid structurally. That makes it all the more alluring to me. Seller is asking 35.00 if it is still there Sunday I will buy it.

SORRY. FINGER GROOVES ARE DUMB. I DID NOT SAY STUPID, ALTHOUGH, …. ANYWAY, I MODIFY I ALMOST EVERY KNIFE I OWN AND REMOVING FINGER GROOVES IS ONE JOB ALWAYS INCLUDED, IF KNIFE HAS SUCH. WHY THE PRAISE?

I have one of these 112 Rangers with the finger grooves and I absolutely love it, it has definitely become my favorite Buck. If you like drop points, Buck now offers the 112 in a drop point and it looks absolutely beautiful with the ebony handles and nickel silver bolsters.
