The CRKT talk cracked me up. That Gil Hibben trapper is sweet! Sure…. a pouch, zippered case, cleaning cloth, and some stickers are nice; but how much extra do I have to pay to get some bug splat on my knife packaging – 4:32? Does CRKT make bug splat? Love your show.

What do folks think of the Kershaw Select Fire type of tool/knife? Mixed feelings… I know My CRKT fillet knife has slit a ton of walleye and it has done an admirable job. Basic tool, done well.
I might do about $79-89 for the CRKT Butte, and then I'd remove the assist spring once I got it home. Regarding the Red Horse, that handle thing might be useful for knocking out a few teeth, and it should make it for difficult to pull away from your hand.
CRKT must be counting on the newbies to buy that knife. I've got some of their stuff and it's just ok at best.
I won’t buy anymore Crkt knives until they start listening to their customers.. we don’t care for the assisted blades.. we want fidgety blades.. their deadbolt would be dope without the assistance! So please assist us in deassistance!
