Too many martial arts systems look at self-defense in terms of specific fighting techniques. Although it’s great to know precise fighting techniques, there’s more to an efficient self-defense training.
Awareness and avoidance is without doubt a top way to prevent an attack. After that, when things get a little more complicated, meaning that you’re facing someone who is potentially dangerous, you’ll need to react accordingly on many different levels.
That said, it’s crucial to comprehend other topics of self-defense other than just plain fighting techniques. You need to understand how to use the best stance for your safety depending on the situation. By having a good defensive posture, you will be able to protect yourself effectively from someone wanting to hurt you.
A good fighting stance, will also give you a tactical advantage to fight back quickly. Having your hands up and being positioned accordingly to the situation, will help strike hard and fast from a natural position, surprising your attacker.
Take time during your day to watch this important self-defense video. It’s worth it to dedicate some time for your personal protection.
Your safety is our priority.
Cheers,

This is a good instructor. Said precisely what needed to be said and kept it simple and effective. Damn good job.
Thanks for the video. You may cover this in another video, but as this is the first of your videos I 've seen I'll ask anyway. Is there a reason men will go for the back of a woman's head? Is this normal for attacks on women? And if so, what are the options for if he does get ahold of the back of your head? I'll check out your other videos to see if you cover this. Also, I noticed some ladies had their hands out, but as soon as their aggressor moved in on them, the women pulled their hands in closer to thier body, not defending their position and distance. In the past, I had an incident where a man was able to grab both of my wrists (one with each hand) and he took one of them and put it in his other hand, thereby holding both my wrists together with his one extremely strong hand. I haven't seen a video discussing this yet. Again, thanks for the video.
