Striking the knee could permanently cripple the attacker. It might be justified against knife attack or multiple muggers but know where the green areas are—and that the knee isn't one of them.

100% legal to openly carry in Texas. That being said, be smart.

Within 4 seconds he opens the weapon directly in front of him instead of behind and to the ground. Had to stop the video there and stop watching. Rename the video to "How to injure/kill pedestrians…"

No mention of hitting the hands. I find that odd. Your
    Assailant will need those to
Hold a weapon or strike you.

It's super easy to cause a permanent disability with this. Drawing an x across the chest makes it survivable with debilitating from the collar bones

Great video! May I ask what band and mode of the baton you had used in this video ? And what’s advantage of it ?

I got one of them from my son when i had trouble with someone, but i never really thought of how to use it effectively, by resting it on the shoulder , exellent demonstration! you quite right if you are going to start swinging it wildly , you are open to counter strikes, concise and clear…thank you..looking forward to the next one!
One question though, they tend to come apart, the front section flew out of mine,i had to improvise a repair, but i am not 100% certain of the reliability of it.

This is a terrible technique. Never crack the wrist with the baton. People with weak wrists or who are untrained will break there wrists on impact.

It looks comical but imagine if that thing hits you in the mouth or jaw or worse the groin, oh man its gonna be game over real quick

    나도 소지하고 있지만
칼들고 나타난 사람이 아니라면 꺼내지 않을겁니다
