In this video, I made a karambit knife from Wootz steel, which I smelted from bearing balls. Thank you all for watching the video.

Absolutely beautiful! What goes into the crucible with the ball bearings and for what reason? Fascinating to watch!

Just a critique, because I almost bought this, but there is a HUGE deal breaker here. EVERYTHING about this knife is perfect from how you made it "double edged" to adding the point on the ring. The blade needs just a bit more curvature, which might be why not alot of people are quick to buy this on your shop. The primary function of the karambit is its ability to function as sort of a bladed half "cuff". As a practitioner of this blade, I can tell right off the bat that there isn't enough curve to optimize this blades primary utility in situations where this becomes practical. However, it DOESNT need curvature like traditional karambits where they're damn near a circle, but more so "quarter moon" esque or the equivalent to how TFW or Doug Marcaida makes theirs

If you want to add a little bit of spice to get all the Filipinos (like me) to drool over a knife like this, make the handle out of a strong wood like African black wood or any type of horn. Nothing against carbon fiber, but we love the natural feel of natural products
