One idea that may come back again is tailoring clothes to fit. That is a lost skill that may be needed again.

Great ideas! Ive been working on getting together sellable items for the Farmers Market. So far Im selling eggs. Wanting to bake breads, home made egg noodles, pickled eggs and pi kles and crafts. Very busy at the moment caring for 4 rescue pups ( Ive got 8 dogs now) training them not to eat my chickens and guineafoul lol…

A new Farm needs a lot of TLC.

Got lots of chicks right now. I might sell some or just grow them out and sell extra pullets and use the extra roosters to help feed my dogs.
Lots of ideas, but being pulled in too many directions…

I do #7. I can vouch it's word of mouth. I've had the same customers for 15 years. ( Only death parts us) .. Do a good job, be there when you say you will, don't be a thief and be personable (listen to their woes). 200 + a day (in a golf community). Depending on how long you want to work (how many houses).

I'm a reseller, people have gotten madder over the years about resellers picking up all the good stuff from thrift stores and stuff, but we are just trying to survive. I have a full time job that pays a decent wage, but it still doesn't leave me enough to have any money leftover after bills. It takes some time to learn about glassware and clothing etc but there is a lot of money to be made if you have the eye.

MD what are your thoughts on supplementally insuring your preps. Such as bullion or expensive firearms and accessories . I called my home insurance and they said they do not cover such things , except up to like 1,000.00$

Skills are so very important in our world. Advice for the younfer generation, never pass up an opportunity to advance your career and learning experience. This is often ver difficult because we get settled into our present jobs and fear things might not work out at our new jobs. I've always given my current employers 2 weeks notice before moving on to my new job. Never burn your bridges. If you're fortunate enough to be offered training courses by your employer, grab them all. And learn while you're young as from experience the older I got the harder it was for me to learn. When you're being taught keep your mouth closed and ears open until it's time for questions. Always remember even if you already know what's being taught, your instructor may be teaching you a better & easier way to do it, so listen up.
When we were all young we knew everything (or so we thought) but as you got older you began to realize there was so very much you didn't know. As an electrician, I found it was to my advantage to hang out with the old timers. As they've probably already done things that you haven't even thought about doing. Food for thought.

FOLKS IN FLORIDA USED TO SEND ME THEIR KIDS TO LEARN HOW TO SAY YES SIR AND YES MA'AM, HOW TO HELP THEIR NEIGHBORS, CARRY TRASH OUT FOR OLD FOLKS AND HAVE PRIDE IN THEMSELVES FOR DOING IT. NO CHARGE JUST SKILLS THEY NEEDED TO SURVIVE AND GAIN USEFUL EMPLOYMENT. ECT.

Most of the highly watched prepper channels use click bait titles and fear tactics to get views. Fear sells. (MD Creekmore excluded)
