The straighter karambits (Fox, Emerson, etc.) are really American bastardizations of generations old Indonesian karambits, looseing half of the Indonesian techniques. Brous is one of the few where the blade curve to around 90 degrees from the handle.
One of the criticism people who really know little about karambits is the they have a limited reach compared to a straight blade held forward. You said you don't like flipping, but if your pointer figure is in the ring, and you flip out to extend, you have a reach the exceeds most knives, and it is incredibly effective. Flipping in end out with an incredible sharp blade is intimidating at first, but once you get it, it gives you options no other platform gives.
    Thanks for your review…

You describe and demonstrate in succinctly; I’m listening, watching your hands and nodding “yes.” It appears to be a worthwhile piece. I do prefer getting all 4 fingers comfortably on the handle, without being obligated to use the ring. Hoping it holds a nasty edge!

Know anybody that might possibly have a elite enforcer?
