A demo video of a carving knife made by me. I made the handle out of stacked leather pieces glued together with epoxy and compressed. The back of the handle is formed by a piece of horn, the tang protrudes through the horn.
The blade is made by polar and is high carbon steel.
I made the sheath out of 2.5 mm thick full grain veg tanned leather and added two loops which enable horizontal carry on the belt.
This knife is not meant for batoning on or performing heavy duty bushcraft tasks. It is mainly intended for carving and food processing.
