Eskrima is a weapons based martial art which comes from the Philippines. It emphasize weapon-based fighting with sticks, knives and other bladed weapons, and various improvised weapons. Although it is weapons based, It also includes disarming weapons and various hand-to-hand combat components.

Mr. Turno (the one on the video) incorporates the handgun close quarter combat, which is new to traditional ekrima, making his style more flexible in various situations. Aside from traditional eskrima, he emphasizes on the marksmanship fundamentals of grip, position and aiming; a true combat drawstroke; proper use of cover; malfunction clearances; shooting at multiple targets; firing on the move; and much more; incorporating handgun combat to the traditional eskrima style.

He is offering one on one lessons on this new style that he developed around Northern Mindanao area which is in the southern part of the Philippines. This is a many-weapon-one-style system based on actual high risk and tactical situations. This is one opportunity that you shouldn’t pass up.
