damn wish i could train with you man, around here its all bullshido or sport specific nothing realistic
Awesome
Like all knife defense techniques, this seems extremely misleading and dangerous. Sure you can flail around and try and mitigate damage but the concept that you can employ some kind of real defense is a pure fantasy. The attacker in the video is less than committed and even then I see multiple successful fatal slashes and stabs. The best knife defense video would begin with the stone cold truth: it's likely never going to work.
Teaching this crap just gives people false confidence that will encourage them to engage rather than try and run for it. Learning Track sprinting techniques is probably 10x more effective than this nonsense.
We did the marker thing in my isshinryu class, people think knife fights are like movies and that they would be able to at least control where the attacker hits but they are always so surprised when they are "cut" and stabbed in places they never even realized were hit, this type of training makes people think.
Nice work mate…
Now thats realistic! Knife defence to stop an attacker without getting cut too much. Thx for the info!
Very cool
