I have not had much experience with Karambits, I looked you up on duck duck go. I like Karambits and 1095 carbon steel. I have several knives and my two sharpest and easiest to resharpen are my over sized Ka Bar 1095 carbon and my other is a tops knife 4-0 cut 1095 carbon. Both are scary sharp and are designated for defense. I have a couple of Cold Steels and a Ken Onion the Cold K steel are nice neck knives and the Ken Onion Kershaw is an open asst. folder, They are nice, but I would like another 1095 carbon steel Karambit, either in a neck or concealed horizontal carry. All I have been able to find are the cheap Taiwan AU8 or Chinese steel. Or a very expensive steel that holds an edge for a long time ,but you need a pro to re sharpen it.
