I've seen so many videos of people drawing their weapon in two seconds or less. Your draw time with the blade wasn't all that fast. Your opponent would've been able to counter attack and possibly even attacked before you we're even able to draw.
Not sure how you got that knife into Canada considering its illegal to import it there.

This is still my EDC blade. The only downside is the extreme difficulty of sharpening an inward recurve edge. It's not easy at all! I am working with some round ceramic sticks and a Spyderco sharpmaker, and a Digital Cube Angle protractor on it. Actually practicing sharpening less expensive karambits with the same profile before I work on the Fox.
