9th Parachute Assault Regiment "Col Moschin" takes its name from the action of conquest by the ARDITI of the IX Reparto on 16 June 1918 of Col Moschin. After ten minutes, the summit was conquered, taking numerous prisoners (more than 300) and stealing many machine guns.

This video is historically inaccurate and offensive to Italians, who fought a terrifying Alpine war.

I recal a story about italian bravery as tould by ernest Hemingway:
Turing one of the isonzo battles, while the austrians where shelling the italian lines, one of the soliders jumped up, out of the trench, sanding at the edge of no-mans-land shaking his raised fist at the austrians on the other side yelling:' why the h…l are you shooting? Don't you know that there are people over here!?'

I'm austrian and i know italy and the italians well and i love this story…. its such a good representation of how i know them… incredibly brave but totally unwilling to sacrifice anything for any idea of heroism…

So they are Klingons. Klingons in ST Lore had always favored their sword and dagger over their disruptors.

In the first w.w. the facts were different…italians didn`t betray the alliance… There was fear that the austro ungarians attack Italy…

They sing “bombe a mano, carezze col pugnal!”

    “hand grenades, dagger caresses”
