Not to dog your expert, because I'm certainly a neophyte when it comes to throwing, but just in my little section of the community our expert tossed an empty beer can and pinned it with a no look throw over his shoulder with a cold steel ti lite folder. Maybe my expectation was too high for what is considered an expert.
This method works like a charm! Overhand, underhand, sidearm, left or right at every distance. And it sticks deep into wood!! It takes less than an hour to get the hang of it. For real.
