Red Snapper can be caught year round in the Gulf of Mexico, but in the northern Gulf, offshore in the Panhandle of Florida, there is one season that produces the biggest and most catches of Red Snapper. Thanks for the good video. I am a new subscriber for sure. I'm over in Apalachicola, and I usually fish back toward Carrabelle once I get past St. George Island. What depth were you fishing in? I found some really big snapper in 110' a few weeks ago, but my next trip out there they had disappeared. I come back to 75' and got into really big gags but no ARS.

Nice!!! We FINALLY got down to PCB this past Saturday. Sunday we got skunked on red snapper but we got 28 Vermillion and about 5 Amber Jacks. Biggest was 34 inches but thought the min size was 36 inches. Fished in the bay Monday and only managed a keeper Spanish and a keeper redfish. Tuesday we got back out in the deep water and caught 25 more vermillion. Got on a spot where we caught probably 20 trigger but were all 12-14 inches and probably another 10-15 red grouper, but sadly not in season
That large snapper was an awesome catch. Wow, great going!! What time is dinner!
