An easy and delicious sausage Stromboli. Cooked in less than an hour. Live in the kitchen with Jeanine
Ingredients:
1 Pillsbury pizza dough
pizza sauce
1 onion
1 bag of Kraft shredded mozzarella or the cheese of your choice
1 lb of sausage or ground beef or pork or chicken.
Cook the onion and meat in a frying pan till browned. Set aside and cool
prepare the dough onto a sheet pan that is lightly oiled
as you see in the video. Once meat is cooled, assemble
place a layer of your cheese down the center of the dough about 4 inches wide then ad a line of sauce down all over the meat in a light coat, don’t over sauce.
Top with another layer of cheese.
Now fold over one side of the dough to cover the meat filling. Then overlap the other side of the dough to completely cover, making sure to overlap. Now put some vent holes into the dough, about 4 small, with a pairing knife. It should look as I showed you in the video.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 to 35 mins till golden. Start checking it at 25 mins.

Chef Note : this can be made with different meats and cheese, simply follow the method and technique. For example. You can use ground beef and cheddar cheese, or you
could use lamb and feta cheese. You can use chicken and Swiss cheese. Whatever you like.
