This would likely only work if the 2 are squared off. But squaring off doesn't seem to happen much these days. The aggressor usually comes in with a surprise attack and you wouldn't see the punch/strike coming in. Someone will say, you've got to train for it bro. Train for a punch that you didn't see coming, that comes in out of nowhere?
