I’m adding a microtech to my collection, want to add a pro tech at some point and even a bench made though I’m not sure what bench made that would be for me.

Hey MC, several great recommendations and nice analysis. Yes, buying American made is VERY important to me (except for Lion Steel and a few nice Spydercos from Taichung and Seki City – I do make exceptions for those!)'. I DO NOT AND WILL NEVER OWN ANY: Civivi, WE, Sencut, Artisan, CRJB, Kancept, Reate, Kizer, QSP, etc. knives because I don't want my money to support the economy of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and their desire and plans for world domination. I also do not want to support Chinese manufacturing companies due to the numerous unethical and unfair business practices that come out of China, such as intellectual theft, design theft, imitation/copy knives, child labor, underpaid labor, deception regarding materials/ingredients used, etc., etc. No problems with Chinese people themselves (my wife is Chinese) – it is the political ideologies of Socialism and Communism and the "fruits" of these ideologies that I'm opposed to. Thanks!
