In this extreme crafting video, you’ll learn how to tool copper sheets into switch plate covers and hand-wrought lanterns. You’ll also learn to improvise with whatever you’ve got in your toolbox to emboss and punch copper, and then use common household ingredients to create beautiful patinas. As always, “Anything I Can Do” host Mag Ruffman makes the mistakes so you don’t have to.

This is sweet! Coolest thing I've come across in a while, totally love it all. Thanks very much for sharing. I forgot to mention, I aged new tin tiles with various things to get the effect they'd been sitting in someone's leaky barn for years. It's the ceiling in our foyer. Aged copper switch plates would be right at home.

Nice. I'm hoping to make some cement switch plates someday… 🙂
