In the first in a serie of ‘The Knife Files’ I make a knife from a file, based on iconic designs around the world. Thefirst one now is based on the iconic WW2 Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife. I use 2 methods to shape my steel: the forge and my 2×72″ belt grinder. This is my first attempt to make a knife using the 2×72, so it did not come out perfect. There are still some remnants of the file theeth visible and the peen at the but is massivly off centre. But other than that, I’m pretty happy with my attmept at a Fairbairn-sykes style knife.

THAT KNIFE'S [CENSORED] SICK!
Good work, and thanks for the comments.
I am sure you'll learn how to make it if you'll read woodprix HANDBOOKS from cover to cover 🙂
