I KILLED a Dreadnought… GRIMDARK model build KarambitKnives,com

qcreek11 Sep 17

Check out how I used some tank modeling techniques to build this GRIMDARK Primaris Redemptor Dreadnought from Warhammer 40K.

This project represents a month of my life compressed into an 11.5-minute video. It’s been a long journey, including the recording process, so I hope you find it both entertaining and inspiring. If you’re interested in this type of project, be sure to watch the next part, where I build a diorama for this guy.

Like others have mentioned, the music is too much of a distraction but the work is great!

Great video! One small issue: the music is a bit too loud, so I can't hear your voice very well. Keep up the great work!

Awesome work. Especially showing you're mistakes with the welds and how to correct them. It doesn't just show that mistakes happen and they aren't the end of the world, but showing how they happened and what they look like. A lot of hobbyists, myself included, have given up when their work doesn't match a tutorial.

Amazing build! The attention to little details and textures is incredible. Also, I've heard a common way to make welds on miniatures is to mix Tamiya glue with sprue bits to make a sort of melted plastic mix that looks really good as welds. Great video!

I've seen quite a few 40K models made one's own in my time, but I can say with certainty that this is one of the best I've ever laid eyes on. Incredibly well done, sir; can't wait to see it once it's painted.

Nightshift is also a very nice channel. Nice to see you taking his techniques and using them for some awesome Dioramas.

Don't buy tamiya extra thin buy their airbrush cleaner instead it's basically the same product works exactly the same and cost alot less
