I belong to the “aged” group at 62. I’m also a barber who has been asked time and again “My hair is receding. What can I do?” My answer is always to accept it. I tell them that at a certain stage it is best to go shorter and shorter as the recession progresses. Some guys eventually shave their heads while others keep a short buzz cut style. I think most guys are too lazy to put the time and effort into maintaining a hair system. I have never judged anyone for making the choice they make. With you, I feel your agony and it hurts. I’ve followed this series and am amazed at the time, effort and expense you have invested in it. In your case, I would suggest shaving your head which is easier than you think and keep the ginger beard tapered down from the sideburn area into a fuller beard. This a modern and widely accepted style for most guys at any age. Find a release and find your peace! Max

why don't you keep the hair between like guard 1-2? Looks solid on you.

If you pin the uncut hairpiece to the mannequin head, it will be easier for you to cut from a longer to a shorter length. The cut will be more even and the adjustments can be done after it has been installed. With regard to the hairs falling out. They may not be knotted as a lace piece would be. I would only use a wide tooth comb and not a brush on it. Th less pull and tug could conserve the hair and slow down any tears in the base layer.

It's full of video that shows you people wearing full topper. Nobody has the issues as you have because you are not doing the thing correctly and you don't listen our advice. That's the only problem!

The replacement process, considering base type and your rigrowth situation you should do it once a week max 10 days. It's normal the itchy after a week because you have quite good amount of hair growing underneath

It looks good the front hairline, nobody will notice what you point out in the super close up on camera.
