I enjoy your Channel. Your techniques seem to mesh well with my previous Arnis training. I have experimented a little with sword in this drill, but wanted to get your thoughts on the application.

Combine those Panuntukan techniques with MMA and you have one of the best self-defense weapon.

Hey Paul, just curious if you ever looked into high-grade collapsable (not the cheap ones that bend easy) batons and their use in Kali?

Are the collapsible high-grade batons a 1:1 tranmissable weapon from the Rattan sticks or is collapsable batons more for a seperate art form in and of itself, like policing?

After playing with one a friend has recently, I really felt that kali training and a high grade baton would be a powerful combo for everyday portable carry for training and/or potentially defense use.

My buddy had an ASP baton and it was clearly well built. After messing around a bit with it, in the sense of Kali, my buddy was finally taking my Kali fanboyism more seriously since even for him, he could see the cross-application between the two.

Just curious as a seasoned Kali vet if you ever experimented with expandable batons on your journey and what your thoughts were on the subject is?

Sorry for the off subject comment, buddy.
