I've tried some of the alternatives you have but always go back to the Ka-Bar. I've been lugging one around for forty years and it's never let me down. Of the ones I've carried I think the Buck 119 would be my next choice if I had to pick another. Great review, always learn something new watching your videos.
I will stick with my OKC-3S. I got a pair of them for $54 each and they go for triple that frequently. Gotta love Woot! and their deals, even if they rarely have such good deals.
once you go Ka-Bar you dont need another knife…Semper Fi~
I have a buck 119, it is dope. I'll never get rid of it
Ka bar fighting knife is an insult
My first K-Bar was issued to me for SERE school. It did a fine job of digging a hole that I could sleep in and was still sharp enough to cut branches to cover me.
Yes. Military contractor Ontario proved this.
I like that Buck 119.
Glock Feldmesser 81!
I have the K-Bar USMC, and the Becker BK7 (with a custom made sheath). I like both, but the Becker is the one I would take in the field. It is about perfect, especially the handle, and balance.
Carried a kbar in Iraq, it is pretty dang sturdy i have broken and pryd many things with it
Of course you can beat the ka-bar, it doesn't take away from the fact it's a fine knife for its price.
