It is my favorite knife for self defense
Tremendous analysis. I'm often struck by the apparent popularity of karambits. Surely sales of this type can't be accounted for by the number of extant practitioners capable of actually deploying them? My experience teaching self-defence to people who weren't especially interested in the arts, was that holding a blade in a reverse grip; simply makes life way more difficult. With karambits and similar ringed knives, there's certainly a gap between perception and reality. Any thoughts on push-daggers for future videos? How do you like Emerson type pocket deployment?☘
Fully agree! It's an amazing tool, but I'll stick with my bowie knife.
