Saw it in the counter other day at National Outdoors & thought this would be sweet for my 1st karambit blade. When I asked about it, the rep flung his Outlier out with a few spins than deployed it too let me check it out! Knew I had to have it so they rang me up with a Carhartt shirt.
Fun fact, The karambit style blade was created for utility purposes first, only later did it become a combat blade
The thumb stud is not reversible. The screw is counter sunk into the left side so it is flush with the blade, there is no counter sink cut on the right side so if you reverse the thumb stud the triangular head of the screw will stick out and catch on clothing or scratch your finger.
