Yep that's why my sledgehammer at work uses the sweet spot for the hammer part lol. I can poke you with the end of a sledgehammer and you'll feel pain, trust me.
And you'd have to be massively confident in your opponent's movement to step into a strike like that. Rarely works in real life.

A 2 foot club is the perfect weapon if you know how to hold it.

You are delusional. It doesnt take that much of a hit to the neck to knock you out via the vagus nerve.

Another point, why would you step into the swing like that? You only enter right before or right after a swing.

People have lost the olds ways of attacking with a stick or anything else like a stick. When gaining power to strike, you must guard your space in order to be successful with your strike.

You can either step into your opponent before he can get in a complete swing of the bat, or you allow him to swing, and then step in before he can get in another swing.

This same rule applies to punching as far as when you close the distance with an opponent the punching power is less effective.
