The ski patch you were wondering about looking weird and zoomed in, I’m guessing the reason it looks like that is they used the eBay background removal tool. Sometimes it removes parts of the item if it looks too similar to the background. I bet that’s what it was.

Make sure you make a “ball” of paper or bubblewrap and place it over the keys to secure them during shipment. Then add padding into the case to secure the typewriter and prevent it from bouncing around as that will cause damage. The clips that secure the typewriter in the case are inadequate to securely hold during shipment. Great sale!
I buy every vintage typewriter that is reasonably priced. I collect them and sell and ship them. It’s not very hard.
