I suggest using a 5oz veg tan leather. However, anything from a 4 to 6oz
should work just fine. You’ll also need some hardware. The D rings and clips are all 5/8″ or 1.5cm. You’ll need 4 regular D rings,
2 square D rings, and 2 clips. While the rivet, snap, and ball stud
holes are marked, make sure to use the appropriate size hole punch
for the hardware you’ll be using.

for those square corners, rather than the rocking motion with the blade, it would be safer if you put the tip of the knife down at the point of the corner and pulled towards the holes you've already punched. That way if the knife slips it goes into the gap you've already made instead of your work piece.
Great pattern! What size dome rivets are you using, and can you add a link for the lock pick kit? Thanks!
