Hello and thank you for watching Texas Cooking Today.
I would like first to apologize for my older videos having music throughout. At the time I thought I was putting out something good but little did I know just how distracting some people would find it to be. Unfortunately these older videos had the music embedded in them and it cannot be removed.
I have begun remaking all the recipes that had music and am upgrading them all to 1920 X 1080 with no background music other than the intro and outro and much better quality sound.
All my videos produced from July 2016 and later are the new series with no music.
Please try my newer videos and thank you for watching.

Thank you for watching Texas Cooking Today.
Texas Cooking Today is a real time Cook Along Video Show. Designed to assist growing cooks in becoming better at cooking while teaching new Recipes and Technique. These recipes are shown in two different versions, the first is a short version that is much like many of the cooking videos seen on You Tube. A detailed cook along tutorial is the second version of any recipe offered here, please feel free to choose the one that best suits you.
In each region of the united states we see different cooking methods, recipes and ingredients, this allows the same food to be completely different one place from another.
Such as New York Pizza vs a California Style Pizza, so here I am doing things with Texas Flavors and Texas Style.
I like to use only fresh ingredients, no canned, boxed foods or seasoning packets.
Cooking should be fun and relaxing and that is what I strive for on Texas Cooking Today.

This video sucks
Why don't cooks sprout their beans first, rinse, cook in 35 minutes and let them sit for 20 minutes while they cool down. Best digestion, best flavor when sprouting, it's like the 1950s on Youtube.
Why remove seeds? I have always used seeds and all. Although I don't use as many Jalapenos.
These beans look delicious. I must try them. Thank you for sharing.
yet again this guy is making ripoff recipe of mexican frijole charros, a bad ripoff at that
Love your channel. You are very informative. Thanks for sharing!
EXCELLENT
Liked the video but hated the noise music.
I found the background music VERY distracting – loose the music please.
easiest way to clean or pick the beans–put beans on one end of a rimmed sheet, then flick each bean to the other end. You can easily see any stone or dirt clump. Then rise off any dust and ready to soak. These sound so good!
Dang those look fantastic. Gonna try it. Thanks
It looks like you are cutting your veggies in the bathroom.
Lose the music please!!!!!
Thank You!
How long has it been since you found rocks in your beans? I'll bet never.
I made charro beans recently … when all was cooked I blended 2 C of the finished product & then added it back into the pot. Added a nice creaminess but still had a whole pot full of whole beans.
nice vid .. learned a couple of things too … nice cooking pot too .. what brand if you don't mind sharing?
I really enjoyed your cooking class video!! Can't wait to try this recipe!!
Thanks for the recipe.
BTW, I saw you had 1999 subscribers and could not resist to make it 2000.
I grew up eating canned ranch style beans. Didnt know the rest of the world was missing out til I left Texas.
im cooking it right now. cant wait
Looks awesome! I use bacon grease. I always have it in the fridge. Made this last night! Used borracho bean seasoning. Cowboy beans. Kinda the same thing. So good, and makes great refried beans as well! The seasoning was from HEB. And I made it in my Instant Pot. From completely dry bean to done in 45 minutes!
