If you have a training dummy or any weapon made of wood then you can train your arms to resist that kind of damage. Just punch at the dummy so that your forearms hit the dummy's arms. That way you can also get used to the concept of defending and attacking simultaneously.

Master Wong you are by far the best martial arts instructor I have ever seen. I am so thankful that you have made a way for me to learn Wing Chun. I watch your videos and practice what you teach. I am teaching WIng Chun to my son and nephew. They love it! I have been trained in Aikido, Tae Kwon Do, and Judo. Wing Chun is the best self-defense there is. Again, thank you for making a difference in my life. I feel confident I can defend myself the best way using your techniques.

I practice the WC in a club and I can tell you than this is a middle kick block. High kick block ? I don't know but in WC you learn too how to block high kicks.
