  1. donkey kong says:

When you block the hook, do you face in such a way that it it seems like a straight punch, which gives you the ability to more or less Larry it away without being affected by the strength of the punch. So would it seem more like a parry, but it only works if your arm technique corresponds with your body or movement technique. As that is what it seems.

  2. CrowdPleeza says:

When blocking/parrying those straight punches wouldn't it be better to make contact with your opponent's wrist instead of the elbow? Making contact with the wrist deflects the punch sooner. Making contact with the elbow seems to increase your chances of getting hit because you have to go too far up on the arm.

I have heard rumors that there is a man who aspires to become the first martial arts action star and singer. He is of Spanish descent. He wants to change entertainment and create opportunities for the Latin people and immigration. He likes Bruce Lee and wants to advance Jeet Kune Do into his own fighting art. Many say he is very fast when he strikes whether it be a kick or a punch. People also say he is a handsome guy with a big heart. He goes by the name of "Kenji Lucian".
