Thanks for showing this. I smiled as I look through the clip, we practice aikido variant of iriminage with the head oblique angle control, or against Thai clinch the head twist is quite effective. The head downward vibration control is new, great! On the slap to the back against opponent trying to do take down on you, is that a slap to the kidney or your elbow landing on the upper back? Thanks so much Dan!!

Funny how so many people that train don't understand these. I picked it up in Silat, seen it across multiple tma and other arts including polynesian styles. Travis Steven's recent bottom side escape video has a nice head control philosophy. He essentially reaches over the head top and grabs the ear/ball cap. Similarly I've seen Greg Nelson grab the ear in collar ties to fight 1 muscle in the neck vs the whole neck. These are my anti mma tactics. I hate to see them released, though I've trained mma for 20 years, I was keeping a lot of what you share close cause it gives me edges vs the young bloods in the ring or street.
