38 minutes into this movie and I find myself hoping that the whole platoon gets wiped out except for Carridine and Boothe. I know it’s just a movie, but the blatant aggressive hostility portrayed by the stupid guardsmen makes me sad for the state of humanity. Kudos to the actors for being so effective in their roles.

I was excited to see the old cast members from my childhood but only made it about 10 min … it is one of the stupidest movies I have spent 15 minutes on. Definitely doesn't do the National Guard any respect. Bunch of disfunctional idiots.

I certainly haven’t read 1.1 thousand comments but AM pretty sure that from the hundreds or so that I did read I’m the only one who didn’t like it. Just my opinion and maybe because I know that real training is nothing like that?
