Sorry, bud. Nothing like a kukri (which is a small falcata).The smatchet is a small xiphos. All of which are preferable to a k-bar, which is best used for slicing onions. But, I love all of them. And Americans should be so very proud of the Arkansas toothpick. Which is a beautiful blade.

Beautiful blade! But I have a question: Rick's smatchet seems to has a shorter handle than the "regular" ones (an overall length of 16 1/8 inches, and a blade length of 10 7/8 inches). What are the measures of wildertools smatchet?
