This is bad advice from someone who is a good fighter. Here is some good advice from someone who is shit at fighting. NEVER EVER get out of the driver seat. Give THEM the money. Its never one man. When they get out of the car drive over him.

I don't think fighting in this situation makes sense at all. Leaping over the seat to fight him puts you at a big disadvantage. There's no room to move and he has the knife. Getting stabbed would be more than likely. He could easily just wait for you to turn around and for you to put your seatbelt on.

over 6000 rides as a uber driver here… got them all to their destination..maybe the worst thing that could have injured me was someone thought it was funny to pull out a headrest and someone thought it was funny to try to take a bite out of my shoulder

my main concern is, do you always pick up passengers without a seatbelt on? unsafe driving, can you do the Same scenario with you in a seatbelt? I'd like to see a way through that. thank you in advance.

or why cant drivers just put up a bullet proof glass barrier and prevent most stuff in the first place? Because spoiled whiny people might get offended and give you low rating. Anyone have common sense left in america or just only care about being comfee? waaaa waaaaa

No-one is trying to kill the Uber driver so relax. Ordering an Uber requires registration and submission of personal info. Uber is a cashless business. Crackheads generally do not have cellphones. A million Uber rides go down every day and zero drivers are getting robbed. Except by Uber maybe.
This video is ridiculous and the instruction is absurd and Inadvisable in too many ways to mention..
I drive Uber every day in the concrete jungle of Los Angeles and ppl are awesome so tell your paranoid lil girlfriend to sack up or quit driving.
    Word.

One thing I was thinking is most people or some people don't have their seat back far enough to be able to jump into the back seat area to go after the weapon hand.

Another thing I was thinking about was if the knife did come to your neck area would be to obtain control of that hand and to maybe pull that arm toward the steering wheel or the driver door so you can lock it to the side of your body while making the assailant uncomfortable. I love your videos keep them up.

All these uber driver tips videos bit nothing like this for taxi drivers when I drove cabs untie recently. Why is uber driving treated like it is such a new concept to drive people around for payment?

so youre saying dont wear my seat belt while driving? not really a very informative video as i found the risk of missing the knife or weapon hand was very high especially if youre a bigger person like the guy playing the attacker you can't reach or squeeze through a small gap between seats. also what about multiple people in the vehicle? too many unknowns on this scenario and video so i personally will give a thumbs down… sorry
