Two questions — WHO is filming???? (Meaning, why didn't they help in the first place?) and 2 — why didn't the tazer zap the officer, too? He was in full contact with the guy, he should have been affected by the tazer, too. (Great video and explanation on your end, THANKS!)

We need this in our state. I think this is such a great way to take down a suspect without using deadly force. Taking control of the situation is by far the best way and only way to take a suspect down. Awesome stuff! Keep up the great work.

Cop fucked up from the start. Should have cuffed him first then searched him. Secondly he ran after him. WTF? Taser that mother fucker. Third mistake he tackles him to the ground but cushions the fall with his own body and ends up on the ground with someone his own size and in a fucking head lock. This is text book How NOT to Make an arrest.

The problem to engage this type of training is that it takes money and time. Most law enforcement departments are short on both. I have a 7:0017:00 job as a physics teacher. I get up at 04:00 to hit the gym for strength training. I go two nights a week to Muay Thai and two nights a week to Jiu Jitsu. It takes a lot of time and practice. It's makes life difficult for me most of the time. Most officers are swinging 12 hour shifts and making sacrifices in their home life. Many have kids and others responsibilities as well. So now this type of training becomes a logistical nightmare for their departments. And let's not talk about the poor pay and benefits they get or the increased amount of stress they deal with. Like all the idiots in our society. Bullets are cheaper and take less training. Of course, on the other hand we could just stop paying out all that welfare money and invest it into law enforcement training.

That taser was just for fun he was handling em no problem. Police are just like people good and bad some are going to be bad no matter how well trained they are.Funny I just read where a 20 some yr veteran detective is a serial killer that's been on the loose 20 some yrs responsible for like 20 or more some murders of young women. Imagine paying to have those type trained in mma and jj. Plenty of ppl make it to prison alive in America. They just need to be trained in there job better . not all are bad nor did I think this officer was way outa line. Trying to run really should not mean getting punched or tasered. I can see if a person fights like this guy did but I've just ran gave up a sec later than got tasered n punched. Either way good luck and maybe if the cops that night with my issue knew bjj I would only got my arm broke and choked unconscious
