@Jonahisme Doesn't mean those positions are given on merit or ability. I am just replying from what I have seen on his clips. I repeat I am not impressed. He has a silly choke defense clip with a woman on Youtube. The rear naked choke her demonstrates on the ground will not work. In fairness I have seen little and heard little if anything about him. and I know a number of the Special Forces instructors for IDF. Again, I am not bashing just giving my opinion on limited information.

@Jonahisme Someone a while ago mentioned a guy named Boaz. Maybe the same person. I don't know this Boaz guy and never heard of him before then. So I searched and found his youtube clips. First off, anyone promoting themselves as Top Expert to me is silly. I don't like knocking others but after watching a few of his clips and moves I am not real impressed. Sorry. Maybe I am missing something. I don't know where you live but I may be able to provide you someone to train with. Good luck.

@Jonahisme It is hard for me to determine what is being taught in KAMI now. I would guess that a large percentage is the same. As I said, I have modified over the years a number of tactics and use few of the fancier karate type tactics that were in KAMI. If you go through my channel here I have some 29 videos. Obviously it is far from all I teach but it should have some changes you can recognize. I can't recall all I have on here. I teach at a much faster pace as well. Where do you train KAMI?

@Jonahisme Read my other reply as well. Just after Eli's death, I resigned from the Krav Magen assoc. and founded Frontline Krav Maga. I have streamlined Krav Maga to what I believe are just the essentials to be prepared for any threat and modified some tactics in a way I feel are more effective and easier for everyone to apply. As one example, I don't teach jump spinning round kicks. Nice to know but but not real practical for street. I am rolling out a 1 year comprehensive program.

@Jonahisme I was for a number of years the only American representative affiliated with the Krav Magen association in Israel, until the death of it's founder the legendary Eli Avikzar. It is the same as Krav Maga. Eli, the first Black Belt of Krav Maga & head of KM of IDF for 12 years. He had a father / son type relationship with Imi Lichtenfeld, the developer of Krav Maga. In 1987, due to political disputes Eli formed Krav Magen assoc., I was fortunate to train under Eli & know him as friend.
