    The knife I carry with me has a window breaker on the grip, so it fucking hurts if someone gets hit by it. The technique earlier in the video where you extend your left or right arm before you flip out the blade is better than it looks. Extending your arm out like that may divert your assailant's attention to it, thus giving the flipping of your blade the chance to go unnoticed. Also, the assailant in a bit of confusion may instinctively go for the extended arm, possibly giving yourself an opening to deal with this according.
