tried to spin my real karambit in a forward spin in reverse grip… it flew out of my hand landed blade first into my bottle of soda, now my pants are wet and i have to drink my bottle like im shotgunning it.

My Friend, your tricks, i believe, are quite intuitive and do not need much explaining in my opinion. Yet, i have noticed (like many others) that you have stabbed yourself quite a lot during practice. I believe this is due to a flaw in your handling, which i used to do and many professionals point out. The problem is with the axis-point of the spin itself. Even though its more comfy and more safe to hold it in the first section of your index-finger, you should trust your grip and the centrifugal forces in the spin more and hold spin the knife on the second section of that finger. This should provide the distance needed to keep your arm safe from getting stabbed. Good luck.

awesome vid. Love your trainers. 🙂 well done.only thing is, that (i could be wrong, but..) the reverse grip on normal knives is as you say, but with the karambit, its referred to as the standard grip. the forward grip we have with normal blades is in fact the reverse grip. but dude, those trainers. nice. well done. Im a flipper also, but nowhere near as good as I'd like to be. I started a number of years ago properly and now my bali (illegal in the uk sighs not that it stopped me) is my fidget toy. :p rock on mate. excellent vid.

I can't help but think about that scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark when the Sarasin was twirling his sword and Indy just shot the fucker. While he's flipping his Karambits some thug with a Hi-Point puts a 9mm though his chest.
