I've never tried to throw my M78. I may just build a target out of some scrape wood and give it a try. Looks like fun. Bryan Stephens (Survival on Purpose) has a great setup. Thank you for another great video. Thumbs up from me.

Just make sure when you baton with this knife not to hit the guard. If it bends like mine did. you will not be able to put it back in the sheath. Bad design in my opinion.

Avoid throwing any good knife at an attacker, it was Hollywood that glorified that idea of throwing knives at an attacker. Attaching it to a straight stick and used as a spear would by be effective against an attacker and even against multiple attackers.

If you prep then you don't have a 'do everything' knife or tool. You have the right tool for the right job. That knife is pointless for wood, pointless for skinning but excellent as a bayonet. Not a priority.
