  1. Michael Nyamute Jr. says:

This fight looks awesom and makes Arya look very skilled, but in reality, a small girl like Arya wouldn't have the strength to parry a slash from someone like Brienne, especially with a sword like needle

  2. Vishal Tmz says:

God, what crap is this. Am I really supposed to believe a child who has had minimal training besting a trained knight who has defeated Loras (in the books she was ganged on by 2 more knights), Hound (show only), a malnourised, chained Jaime (still dangerous) and numerous other fighters???

""But, but, look how badass Arya is!!"" God this show really tanked after season 4 (save for a few decent night's watch episodes in s5/s6).

  3. Niclas Lööf says:

This was and remains stupid, even with the "longswords are armor piercing" logic that this show uses Arya can't do shit with that sword against armor and if she tried to pierce gaps it still can't do much with all that padding. In a proper fight Brienne would have just tackled her to the ground and broke her neck or taken her dagger and stabbed her throat.

Everytime I watch this scene I'm reminded of how GOT was amazing and how much I miss it but also how the last season ruined it for me! Still kinda disappointed!

I'm just going to say. Arya Stark is the Batman of Game of Thrones. Rich upbringing, both parents are dead, She's has multiple teachers/mentors, She's one of the few people who can fight that also uses poisons, she can use multiple weapons and forms of weapon use (sword and knife here, knife throwing, archery, staff fighting, the stick she uses in the long night), she's the closest thing to a martial artist in the show, she can use both her hands well in combat, she can read people and gain insight about them, she trained while she was blind and thus can handle fighting in the dark better than most people, travels the world, she can copy people's voices and take their faces to act as them. She's Batman or dare a I say a Batwoman, but there's a show about one already although if I could pick, I would rather watch Arya: The Dark Knight of Westeros than Batwoman: She who spends a part of every episode reminding that she's gay. (ps: this not a pick against LGBT, I like Sara Lance from dc legends, and well I admit I would be a little off due to knowing her backstory, I would be cool with a lesbian Arya).

  6. James Dawson says:

It makes no sense for Arya to be this good at fighting. Brienne is one of the best fighters in the realm, she has tonnes of experience and beat the Hound, yet a bit of scrubbing floors in Bravos made Arya into one of the most gifted swordsman in GOT? I just can’t buy it.
