The F-S dagger is not the best knife for throat cutting jobs.
The handle and the edge geometry aren't best suited for this style of killing.
It can be done, but not the best knife for it at all.
These daggers are made primarily for stabbing .
Then again, if you don't hit the right places, the victim will go wild a long time before he dies.
Using a Khukuri or a Smatchet will probably result in a quicker Kill.
War is a shit-business for sure.
The people being killed are most often not much different from the people that do the killing(not talking about Bin Laden and friends) , except they are regarded as the enemy.
WWI showed this well when the soldiers had a break at Christmas and play football.

really like this guy. I come across this video and watch it at least 3 times a year every year for almost 6 years. best way to get taught, straight from the horses mouth and with a great story ta boot.

I've been told that the tips were sometimes blunted by individuals so that they don't get stuck in the bone if they hit a rib. Easier to pull back and try again or might slide around it. Don't need too much force to go through the skin with a knife anyways.
