    As a person and as a 911 operator, first of all my congratulations for helping spread awareness and help end domestic violence, which is an issue that exists where you least expect.
    Passing the psychological aggression aspect and going directly to self-defense in terms of physical aggression. 
    Here are some possible situations: 

    Pushing with both hands to chest 
    Pulling hair and drag against table, wall or floor 
    Grabbing her neck 
    Grabbing her neck pressing against wall 
    Grabbing a hand, 
    Grabbing a hand and with the other a punch or slap 
    Grabbing a hand and pull her to the floor and kicking. 
    Pindown for rape or to punch or slap or grabbing her neck when on the ground
    Grabbing a knife or other object to cut
