A problem I see with this takeaway is that it doesn't follow the cardinal weapon defense chain RCAT/D (Redirect weapon, Control weapon, Attack the assailant, Takeaway weapon/Disengage from the enemy). I'm not saying it won't work, but if you attack before you have control of the weapon, there is a greater possibility of not being able to get control of it afterward, which could put you in a very bad situation.

HA. THIS IS PERFECT… IF YOU WANT TO GET CUT WIDE SLAP OPEN AND BE TOTALLY IN-EFFECTIVE. I SEE IM NOT ALONE IN THIS OBSERVATION. CANT IMAGINE HES EVER REALLY TRIED THIS TECHNIQUE ON THE STREET. IM A LADY AND ID HATE TO SEE THE AVERAGE WOMAN TRY THIS CRAP. TRY MARTIAL BLADE CONCEPTS, THEY HAVE MORE GOING FOR THEM AS FAR AS LOGICAL/REALISTIC TECHNIQUES
