Chocolate Cake with World Famous Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting . Check out my friend Pam’s chocolate cake. No mixing bowls. It all melts together in one saucepan before pouring into your cake pan.
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter – 2 sticks
6 T unsweetened cocoa
1 cup water
2 cups white granulated sugar
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
2 Cups all purpose flour
2 eggs
1/2 c sour cream
Directions: Use large wooden or silicone spoon
Put butter in large saucepan with cocoa and water. Bring to a boil, stirring with big spoon.
Remove from heat. Stir in sugar, salt and baking soda.
Stir/beat w spoon until sugar is dissolved.
Beat in the 2 eggs
Add sour cream and stir until dissolved.
Pour into greased pan of your choice.

Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting
Ingredients
½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter softened
8 oz (226 g) cream cheese softened brick-style, not spreadable
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
3 ½ cups (440 g) powdered
sugar*
½ cup (65 g) natural cocoa powder
Instructions
Combine the butter and cream cheese in a large bowl and, using an electric mixer or a stand mixer to beat until creamy, well-combined, and lump-free.

Add vanilla extract and salt and stir well to combine.

With mixer on low, gradually add powdered sugar until completely combined.
3 ½ cups powdered sugar*
Add cocoa powder and beat until well-incorporated into the frosting — be sure to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl more than once so that all ingredients are well-combined.
